Bio
Louise Stafford is The Nature Conservancy’s Water Fund Director for South Africa, a position she took up in January 2017. Her role includes the development of partnerships, provision of strategic leadership and support for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) activities and project management of the Greater Cape Town Water Fund. She also spearheads the development of TNC Water Funds across South Africa. She has over 20 years’ experience in managing invasive species and worked at all tiers of government, national, provincial and local. She graduated with an MSc (Entomology) from Rhodes University, Grahamstown.
