Three series of learning outputs
The learning outputs combine film and text to present key lessons from the Cape Town experience. The sixteen modules in the Learning from Crisis series identify and examine the large, overarching themes that emerged as central during the crisis. With an average length of twenty minutes, and drawing together multiple voices and perspectives from a number of interviewees, each of the films in the series offers a clear exposition of its subject and a nuanced deeper consideration of the key points. The Spotlight and Viewpoint series, two series of twenty short films each, with an average length of under five minutes, offer concise factual briefings on specific topics and succinct opinion pieces by individual interviewees. The learning outputs can also be explored thematically.
Themes
The learning outputs above have been curated by the CTDRLI to facilitate thematic exploration of the content. Selected modules are presented under each of the nine themes below.
